Is it dangerous to install a Plasma TV some 4 feet from a burning stove.?

My current TV is in the same place, and, although it gets hot on the side near the cast iron stove, i never had any problem. Still, I'm worried if it were a Plasma TV, it seems such a delicate appliance.

Answer:
I personally would not put any electronics that close to a wood stove. Generally speaking if it gets more then like 90 degrees where the Tv is going to go then no. There is a operation temp listed in the manual of your tv it should tell you.
I would never do that with such an expensive piece of equipment!
Unless theirs a fire or it falls I dont think theres a risk but over the years the rising heat might have some effect so I wouldnt risk an expensive plasma screen their
