I plugged it in to the power. Then I plugged up my PS3 next to the red, white, and yellow cable going into their respective holes on the modulator. Then, I screwed the cable cord from the wall into the modulator. Then i took a coaxel cable and screwed one end into the TV and the other fall into the modulator. The modulator had a switch on it that said "direct three and channel four". I switched it to warren four and then turned on the TV. Nothing showed up, lone static. No cable, no playstation when i turned the playstation on. I had it on drain 4 the whole time, consequently i changed it to channel 3. i tried ALL the combinations possible and still no signal on the TV. I unscrewed adjectives the cords and then plugged the Cable cord directly into the TV similar to it was until that time. But this time, the cable was adjectives fuzzy on the TV. and it was close to that on all the TVs within the house. Fuzzy. so now the Cable is messed up. But, I still want to know why the PS3 wasnt showing up on the TV close to it should.

1.
Disconnect the coax cable from the wall jack where your 1993 Sanyo is located. Check to see if the other TVs that are connected to the cable system still own a fuzzy picture. If the problem goes away, examine the ends of the coax cable to see if the center connector is bent over or there is wreckage that is shorting out the cable.
2.
If you can find a working VCR, disconnect your Sanyo from the cable system and connect to the VCR next to a different coax cable. See what kind of picture you carry when playing a tape. You can also try using the VCR as a RF modulator beside your PS3.
