Samsung or LG LCD tv?
Answers: i would say shift for the LG as most of the components in TVs are made by LG my mate bought a 42" pioneer for 600 pounds more than my LG and he cant see any difference within the picture or even when we use our x box 360s on it using the hd gaming feature and both tvs enjoy been running impeccable for over 2 years

i enjoy a samsung 42" plasma that i bought a about a year ago and i have been looking at an lg aswell a short time ago because i like both of in that looks and they were both surrounded by my budget. i ended up near the samsung because i personally like the picture quality better and the guy at bestbuy help me out with it alot too and recommended i budge with the plasma over the lcd and that i would apprecite that more within the long run. i would definetly go beside best buy cause of in that payplan. but to answer your question, im unbelievably pleased with my tv and the photograph is great. some digital board went out on it a few months into it but i have it fixed and no problems since, knock on wood cause it be a pain within the ***. i know lg is doing good for itself and are making better tvs but havent reviewed them lately. if money is not an pick, you cant go wrong near a pioneer, all around a sweet piece of product. it will be my subsequent. good luck!
