LCD or PLasma, which is best?

Answer:
Depends on your application. If it is data you are viewing or a static image go the LCD. If its for your lounge room to watch tv & movies go the plasma. Much better black, and believe me this is the most important part of the picture. Without a solid black everything will look pasty. Plasmas also have a much faster response time which results in much smoother images, particularly on fast moving things like sport. Just dont leave anything on it, or the image will burn in. So dont pause a movie, dont let a dvd sit there on the menu screen, be conscious about text such as a score, time or station id in the corner, or the image will burn in permanently. There is no issue leaving a plasma turned on for a long time, just dont display the same image on it.
Plasma baby!
Plasmas are really nice, but you can't leave them on for extended periods of time. The screens heats up ever so slightly but enough to cause damage to the picture clarity.
