Looking for a spanking new TV...?
Answers: You can't jump wrong with SONY, No1 sale still worldwide. Very reliable! And with their clean Motion Flow Technology to make movement smoother, they look fantastic.
Then I'd put SAMSUNG a close second.
Samsung label the panel for Sony LCDs anyway, so along with their bright screen, great viewing angles, high contrasts, and stylish looks, they too hold a great product!
Sometimes it just comes down to which one you judge looks the best, picture wise or design clever??
So hard to utter which is better, but I would personally buy surrounded by this order: SONY, SAMSUNG, SHARP and put the rest approaching LG into the same picnic basket.
Recently in New Zealand LG be rated along beside Sony and Panasonic as the 3 most reliable TVs! So seems ok to me.
All the best.
Ive have good luck beside westinghouses, and theyre relatively cheap!

1st two answers are chitchat lowest tier LCDs (also called by some, cast-offs TV). For a 37", Both Best Buy and Amazon have a Toshiba 37" HDTV (32HL67) for $899. Good price on a flawless TV. Stick with feature name brand LCDs, resembling Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, and Hitachi. LG, Samsung and Phillips are below these. Good luck.
