Answers:    In February 17, 2009, broadcasting of the characteristics of TV signal we've been using for years will winding up. This is referred to as analog TV. Digital TV is already being broadcast. All HDTV is digital, but not adjectives digital is HDTV. In January of 2008, each household can apply for two coupons, respectively worth $40 towards the purchase of a converter (cost about $60) that will convert the over the atmosphere digital TV to analog, so that the old TVs will verbs to be usable. If you use cable, without a box, cable companies must verbs to carry analog version of the channels available OTA locally until 2012. Digital TV, including HDTV is presently available bothy on cable and satellite.
The bottom splash is that if you're satisfied next to the locally available OTA channels, you're relatively unmovable. If you want more than that, you may have to rent a cable box; and for HDTV, you'll have need of a new set.
