How do you fix an LCD peak that have be hit rock-hard?

I have an LCD blind that has be hit pretty hard by a bench. It will turn on breifly, and the only item that appears on the screen is a spider net type line. I've already replaced it, and be going to get rid of it, but I own this friend who thinks they can fix it cheap. I've asked 3 tv experts who own all told me that it desires a new front panel. For arguments sake...would you enunciate it is the front panel or the rear panel that requests to be replaced?


Answers:    Let's not call it a Front or Rear panel...that would be mistaken as the plastic COVERS....

Let's phone it the DISPLAY PANEL or the LCD PANEL.....

That will cost REAL close to a Brand new TV set....

I suggest you grasp another unit, and MAYBE accumulate the OLD TV for boards that can be used on your NEW TV....

Of course that only works if you receive the Same MODEL and BRAND....

But it's something to consider on your next purchase....
NOW to protect your NEXT LCD, step to your nearby Hardware store or Lumberyard and purchase some Velcro Tape and enjoy them cut a piece of LEXAN about 1 inch oversized on a 4 sides....place the Velcro on your TV cabinet, remove the protective Tape and stick the Lexan to the TV set....or vice versa.
matching thing happen to me not so long ago and i was advise that it would be cheaper to replace the tv
