How can I fix a "wavy" HD picture problem?

Ever since getting a Sanyo HD TV, I notice a 'waving' effect on threatening colors, black especially, on HD channels. I don't thought this in bright colors, merely darks. By 'waving', I mean that the picture have a wavy or a 'flaring' effect. That's the best I can describe it.

Answers:    Since it's ONLY IN DARK parts of the picture, we KNOW it's power supply filter....

Those capacitors that filter the main 9 Volt and 12 volt supplies are not doing their chore...

You'll need a TV Tech to look at the severity of the problem and determine if it is in manufacturer's specifications or out of specs....
All power supplies have some ripple to them. A GOOD power supply won't show it.

That's why you have need of a TV TECH to determine this....
If its not an antenna recption problem you'll need to take it checked by a Tech person. Sometimes you may call for to use a signal booster for some areas. See if your neighbors are using any as this will be a guide for yours.

If it does the same when you read aloud run a DVD or tape through it its most credible a tech problem. Otherwise its most likely an antenna/lead or booster problem.
Oh i purely got an HD 2 days ago! When the guy come to change our direcTV the channel were adjectives weird but afterwards my dad made him fix it and he just didnt connect it right...Perhaps here is something wrong with yur nouns?
