Are the extended warranty worth it on LCD tvs contained by the $700 reach?

I normally don't buy them but it's served me in good health on both my printer and even my ipod. What about one for a unsullied High def Tv about 32"-37" around the 700 dollar strip?

Answers:    Lukester is correct, but..
It sounds like you will be buying a lower tier set, given your price band. The after warranty service on lower tier sets varies from poor to nonexistent. If you're getting a dub brand like Sony, Etc., the extended warranty is probably not a worthy investment. But if you're buying a Polaroid or Insignia, Etc, you should consider it. You also should consider taking the price of the lower tier set. adding the extended warranty cost, and later reconsidering one of the better sets.
Only if the store you bought it from and the place where on earth they service LCD TVS are good at what they do.
