I recently bought a Mirai 32" HD ready LCD TV, which suffered from screen artifacts such as vertical lines of dark puxels, which were considerably darker than the surrounding pixels, and i wanted to know whether the Samsung LE32R87 suffered from a simillar design flaw. I heard that they have corrected this issue in recently manufactured tv's, and because this tv was released for retail a couple of months ago, It shouldn't have any screen artifacts, right? Well thats what i'm unsure about, which is why i want anybody who has seen this TV in action to inform me about whether it does or does not have this flaw. This may not be much of a big deal to some people, but it is to me, and i am not prepared to spend £599 on a tv that has such a noticeable flaw. This particular flaw literally ruined viewing when playing Games such as resistance: fall of man, or motorstorm, and even when acessing the XMB (cross media bar) on the PS3.
Thanks in advance
Answer:
i've not seen this on the samsung, but there are some other tv ( toshiba, and the old 60 model panasonic ) which are on the same par.
Go down to your local currys comet etc, and have a look, or just take down your ps3 and ask to plug it in, that way you can " test " which one you like.
Hope this helps wg
