Answers: it will work. You may have to look at the signal strength and azimuth angles, as very well as possibly setting a different transponder. All that is done in the receiver setup menu.
Yup, you should. The addressee doesn't know which dish it's plugged into. I do that all the time beside DishNetwork ones. You just can't take local channels.
