I have a digital built in freeview TV. Surely, a box wouldn't work?
Answer:
You can have Sky and/or cable, it's up to you if you want them, your tv will be able to receive them too.
You can have Sky/cable in addition to your freeview, all 3 if you wish, and although you will have a scart socket, you can also receive sky/cable through normal RF frequencies, you can have the two of them daisy chained together so you can do this
If your DVB-ready TV set has a SCART socket (big socket with 2 rows of holes...), then it has AV function and will be able to display a valid signal from another device (PAL,RGB signals), such as output from a satellite receiver, SKY box (which is a satellite receiver, really), DVD player, etc. Freeview does not carry the same contents as SKY or cable.
If you want to watch movies or sport then sky is the answer if not then stick with freeview I bought a t.v. with inbuilt freeview last year and now the only time my sky box is switched on is for sports it's totally a matter of personal choice but yes you can operate both systems on the same t.v.
Even if you have integrated Freeview, you can still add extra external tuners for satellite, cable, even an extra Freeview box. One of my co-workers had a Freeview TV and a set top box with a PVR so he can record one Freeview channel to hard disk while he records another channel to DVD.
with sky you will get more channels
and yes your box will work
if you dont want sales calls then contact bt who will remove your number from the phone book and lake you ex directory
