How do you connect only the dvd player?
Answer:
Use the 20 pin SCART cable to connect the TV and the DVD player. The SCART cable has two identical ends, large, about 2" x 3/4", almost rectangular, except for a little point at one corner.
Your DVD player will have the same insert jack on the back.
Maybe your TV has room for 2 SCARTS? this will be #1 and #2. Just select #1 or #2 on your TV remote control when it's time to watch a DVD. If you select the wrong number, the TV will be displaying... "nothing" from the empty SCART jack.
