i have a 42 inch phillips plasma tv that not long started having problems. whenever i turn it on it turns itself past its sell-by date in 5 second, no buttons are pressed down so i think it might enjoy someting to do with the power. does anybody enjoy any idea what it could be and how much it would cost to fix it?

Yup except an expensive repair, when you buy cheap thats one of the attributes you get, elevated parts.
