Digital tv within 2009?

Tell me about it,Is it true that the aged tv's won't work in 2009?
and what exactly gonna crop up in the tv world?

Answers:    Except for some tiny TVs that don't own a way to attach a separate antenna, adjectives of the old TVs will work only just fine after 2009.

What is happening is that the US is varying it's TV broadcasts from an analog to a digital format.

But, digital TV signals can be cheaply converted to analog ones that older TVs can get.

For people who acquire their TV with an antenna, they can buy a converter box that go between their antenna and TV. Starting in unpunctually Feb 2008 the government will start giving out coupons that will agree to each household buy a couple of them for nearly $20 each.

Satellite TV signals are already digital, within is a converter built into the receiver. Cable systems hold similar ways to take precision of the transition to digital signals.
If you have a TV over ten years ancient you will have to buy a converter box to recieve digital signals.
