I plan on buying a 50-60" TV and want to wall mount it once my basement is remodeled. Do I entail to add anything extra at the back the wall or do the mounts attach to any wall studs without a problems?
Answers:
It should be no problem finding the studs...but IF you Really want to Beef it up, make the addition of a 2 x 4 or 2 between the joists that you plan on mounting it to....that give you the versatility of CENTERING it Within your space !
Can't do that with simply the joists...you can try 3/4" plywood too.
