My friend had cable tv for years beside a box attached to his TV, & the cable firm replaced the box with a spanking new one & claims he has tamper with it to receive more channel,over the years & has fined him ten thousand dollars, He claims he have never opened or tamper with the box. What should he do?

He can other get a advocate, but that will cost.
However, this is more of a scare tactic. Even the cable company does not want to walk to trial.
He could offer $500 to the company WITHOUT admit guilt so that they would leave him within peace.
If he is really innocent, he could counter sue, provided he can find an attorney to represent him and split the gain - provided he wins..
Talk to them, and if they dont do anything. SUE!!
