Is there any way to view HD on a regular tv?

Is there any cable that is hdmi on one side and av on the other? I am asking for my ps3 I want to use its hd features on a regular tv if its possible? or maybe a converter

Answer:
The HDMI carries a digital signal so no cable can convert it to an analog A/V signal. If you are trying to get the best possible picture check to see if your TV has an S-Video or component video input. Using those connections from your PS3 will give you more accurate color and resolution.
If your TV isn't HD, then nothing you can do will make it's display any better than it already does.
Yeah. Just hook it up like anything else. My question to you is: What's the point? You should be using a pretty hi-spec TV.
your TV can't handle the HD signal your ps3 is sending, so it's pointless.

you need to buy an LCD or Plasma with 1080p HD capabilities.
no
I think you would have to have a HD television set.
