If I am ready to spend $1,500 for a contemporary TV, what would be my best thump for the buck?

Naturally, I want an HDTV with the biggest blind and best resolution possible. I keep audible range advertisments for Vizio, are they any good? What would you recomend?

Answers:    Sharp is a pretty clad TV, despite the banding problems the company has have, and the poor customer service in rectify it. Vizio, along with the other TV name you've never heard of, similar to Ilo, Maxent, Insignia, Olevia and Polaroid, are third tier TVs (a.k.a. Junk).
For your price, and considering you want the largest available, it's either a 50" or a 42" Panasonic plasma, depending on what description of deal you grasp. Whatever you do, get a level, reliable name brand resembling Panasonic, Toshiba, Hitachi, or Sony.
Sharp Aquo's LCD
vizio 47" HDTV1080p no doubt roughly speaking it
I agree, Sharp Aquo's LCD, Do research at numerous consumer reviews online!
Be warned: LCDs are thoroughly fragile. They have plastic screen.
