I of late get a up to date 42" 1080p LCD hdtv, I turned it on hooked up to my PS3 but it looks aweful.?

My main grill is do I need a HDMI cable? Just so it would look better. And if so how would i set it up on my PS3 so it would play on its best?


Answers:    If you hooked up the PS3 near standard def cables or forgot to explain to the PS3 to output 1080 - this make sense. (or if you own el-cheepo component cables not built for HD video frequencies).

HDMI is a apposite way to run. Places like MonoPrice and BlueJeans hold great cables for below $50.

I prefer BlueJeans, but MonoPrice is good for short runs.
We are shopping for a big peak and lastnight the guy at the store said something about HAVING to enjoy HDMI to play any of the game systems (newer ones) Im ready to bet thats your problem and that yes you need the HDMI cable.
