Do i requirement multiple sit boxes if i enjoy several t.v.s?

I'm thinking of opting for digital satelite t.v. I own more than one telly. Will I need more than one satbox, as is the travel case with terrestial 'freeview', or will one box serve adjectives?

Answers:    I'm assuming your in the UK because your chitchat about Freeview and that your thinking in the order of taking up SKY.

With SKY there are two Options:

Option 1:
SKY boxes hold a SCART output and an RF output so you can feed multiple TVs from one SKY box but within are limitations.

The first limitation is that adjectives TVs must view like channel. You can't keep under surveillance SKY moveis on one and Sport on the other.

The second limitation is that one TV is going to win much better sound and picture than the others.

The TV connected via SCART will go and get stereo sound and a much better picture than the TVs individual fed by RF which will carry a less sharp picture and merely mono sound.

The typical scenario for this is to hold asmall portable in your bedroom and your 40" LCD basic TV in the living room where on earth you can't realy notice the scarcity of stereo and slightly worse signal on the portable . SKY will also flog you a remote control extender so that you can change channel on the SKY box from the second TV, otherwise your going to have to turn to the room where the SKY box is to renovate channel.

The profit of this method is that you only discharge 1 SKY subscription.

Option 2:

Get SKY multi room, if you take this choice SKY will install a different type of dish with dimensions for either 8 or 4 feed (bog standard dish has individual one feed for a run of the mill SKY box)

Whether they go for 8 or 4 depends on how various rooms you want to feed and what type of set top boxes your using. (SKY+ and SKY HD require 2 feeder cable so that you can watch 1 ditch and record another).

The positive aspect with this setup is that every TV have its own feed and its own set top box so you can scrutinize different channels on different TVs and benefit from better picture and stereo sound via the SCART socket.

Another supremacy is that if you take multi-room they tend to waive the installation levy.

The main disadvantage is that you own to buy the extra boxes from SKY and pay an extra tenner a month subsrciption for respectively additional box.

However respectively box has access to indistinguishable channels as the prime installation, so you get adjectives your premium channels whatever thing box your using. BTW there isn't an chance not to have the premium channel on the additional subs for a discount, SKY don't do this.

A third alternative could be to reuse your freeview box on one of the other TVs if you can live without the SKY channel.

Hope this helps answer your cross-examine.
If you want to use different channels at matching time yes.
