Virgin V+ or sky +, is there any difference between the 2??

I only have freeview at the mo, built in the tv & my landline & broadband is with Virgin Media (ex ntl), but keep hearing good things about this + service for recording etc, but who should subscribe to get the TV service?? Been looking on their websites & its so confusing, is it much the same!

Answer:
With V+ you can record 2 things at once while watching a third and you get picture in screen when you are looking at the guides which you don't get with sky, however recently v+ have taken away sky1 and sky sports news which is a little annoying. I'm happy with my V+box.
im sure you get more channels with sky + not sure i prefer sky cuz i got sky + and its great !! highly reccomended

with Virgin you can record 2 programmes and watch a 3rd at the same time.. but Virgin have lost Sky 1 and Sky Sports News...
Virgin is dead slow compared to sky
