How much should I pay for a 53" 6 year old Hitachi tv?

My sister is willing to sell me her 53" Hitachi HDTV that she bought in 2001. She paid around $2200 for it. How much is it worth or should I pay for it?

Answer:
If it seems to be in perfect working condition, and you like the picture, $100, at best.
Not much, no more than $500. With all the advances in the tubes and HDTV that thing is out of date.
