How to connect my PC to my HD TV to monitor movies?
Answers: I've done this with my 50" Panasonic LCD and it is incredibly jammy. What you need is first a D-sub cable (pretty much a monitor cable, a short time ago make sure it is 15-pin). Also, net sure it is male to masculine (has pins at both ends). For mine, I needed a bit longer of a cable. I went to Radioshack and it be going to be ridiculously expensive. I bought mine off of eBay for beneath $10, shipping and all. You do NOT inevitability a fancy Monster cable or anything like that. If you buy it at an electronics store, they'll push you on some high-cable that might run $50, but you don't inevitability it. Just get a regular cable or buy it from eBay. Then a moment ago plug one end into the TV and the other into the monitor output of your computer. I don't enjoy a separate monitor hooked up to my computer, just the tv, so it works effortlessly that way. That will nick care of the video.
The audio may be lately a little bit trickier. If your computer is approaching mine, it probably doesn't have red and white RCA audio output jacks. Most computers own a headphone jack, a microphone jack, and maybe a line-out jack. I'm guessing the audio-in on the tv is the red and white RCA jacks. If this is the suitcase, you will need to do this one of two ways: 1) Get a cable that have a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack on one end and two RCA plugs on the other expire or 2) Get a small adapter plug that has a 3.5mm headphone jack on one back and two rca jacks on the other end. You would consequently need an RCA audio cable (red and white plugs on both ends) to plug into the adapter and the audio input on your tv. Either course will work. I used the second method solely because I already had an extra rca audio cable to use.
After that, only turn the video input line on your tv to the PC input and relish. No special adjustments are needed on the computer winding up.
