Why wont my ps3 work n my lcd tv through hdmi cable?

Answer:
a bit more info on the model of your set might help-but at a guess the resolution output on the ps3 is set incorrectly-if your tv is 1080i and the ps3 is set to 1080p no image will be displayed. turn off the system then with only the system and tv connected touch the systems power button for more than 5 seconds to turn the system back on. the video output settings will reset to standard resolution. when this is done go into the systems settings menu and select 1080i/p this should sort out the problem.
You need a HD ready TV. HD stands for high definition.
