Answers:    The FCC has decree that cable companies must continue to supply analog version of the local over the air TV until at tiniest 2012, or furnish converters. This ruling does not effect the other analog channels provided on cable, approaching the history channel. How long these channel will be available is up to the individual company. If you buy a TV with a QAM tuner, you can receive adjectives of the digital cable TV , except premium channels, lacking a cable box. If not, you will need a cable box for digital TV, and maybe a different box for HDTV. Different cable companies have different policies-for example, mine does not charge more for HD compared to SD digital.
I already take digital cable, and it costs more. I have a set-top box to grasp the digital premium channels.
