Uses smaller amount power than a Plasma. Not viewable from all locations surrounded by front of the screen as if you are above or below just right viewing for location you may see a shadow image or nought but the light.
Plasma - Gas lower than pressure makes colored street lamp in accordance beside the electrical signal which makes it form a display. Uses more power due to the technology. Viewable from adjectives locations in front of the blind and at higher and lower points of vision.

If you asked this question 3 years ago I could write you a one page article on this, but beside todays technology the following is the main difference.
Plasma produces better black and white colors after LCD, but if you get giant end lcd (or purely shop around) you could get same color talent in lcd. LCD collectively cost less.
HD brass tacks is that all the lines of resolution are covered on the tube therefore, HD TV similar to anything which says 1080p on it will make a contribution you the clearest image possible.
Remember even 1080p will just give you something like 720p resolution with standard cable, it is not till you endow with it a HD signal that it will give you a 1080p logo. www.dealinsecond.com is a great place to compare thats where I found mine.
For you.................. it doesn't business. Just pick one you will like it. HD is a type of resolution defined at 720p/1080i/1080p. Again if you don't know what any of those have it in mind don't stress. Just go find a TV that looks cool and you can afford. You will resembling it.
