Why did my tv picture reduce itself to a horizontal line?

This happened to my Proscan TV. Can this be repaired?

Yes it can. Basically, you lost your Vertical deflection. It probably will be Electrolytic capacitors in that circuit or the Vertical Amp IC as you primary problem components.
Yes, most problems like those can be repaired.
Same thing happened to my tv a few years ago. Your TV's dying, but it can be fixed.
