What distance would you put a plasma tv from the floor?
Answers: There is no formula "in inches rotten the floor" to place a plasma or any large flat eyeshade HDTV! Optimal viewing is obtained when the set is placed so that somewhere between the bottom and middle of the blind are at your eye level, when seated contained by your normal viewing position. Hanging a TV on the wall at ordinary picture height is a decorator's perception, not a videophile's, and one that is pretty stupid for watching.
any distance really. at hand is no viewing angle problems with plasma. so the picture will look virtuous at any height. most tv stands are 18-24" glorious. so that you are looking straight at the tv when you are sitting ina chair or couch(where most general public watch) that is considered just the thing. but you will see many populace mounting their tvs on the wall up higher or above a mantle, this kinda make it look nice and elegant. but you will enjoy to look up at the tv while you are watching it. to me this would be uncomfortable and put an throbbing in my d¨Ścolletage. so think of the most comfortable viewing position. usually more or less 12-24" inches off the ground. this is the best comfort of viewing position, not necessarily the most well turned-out. for me id walk comfort of viewing, good luck
