Hitachi 53" rear projection hd ready tv. No red anymore. Why?
Answer:
There are many possible causes ranging from no filament
voltage to the Red CRT up to the CRT itself being defective.
It would be best to get a TV Repairman out and have him
give you an estimate to repair it.
Just curious, have you checked the cables, you said HD Ready, so I just wondered if you were feeding the HD signal from something like a Sat Receiver, via the three color cables and the two audio cables, maybe the red cable is loose. Connect your DVD player and try a movie and see if you have the same problem, or your VCR. I bring this up because it's better you find out if this is the problem before the repair man finds it for you.
