Can Non High Def TV catch any difference beside a HD DVD or Blue Ray?

I dont own a high def TV, i be wondering if i can see any difference, advantage next to a blue ray or hd dvd player contained by my regular tv? any quality pros againt regular dvd?


Answers:    maby a more clear picture, not so much colorful and bright and detalied. if you want to spend the money on a blue shaft of light or hd dvd, id buy the tv first. not worth it at adjectives to have blue streak player ($500) and not be able to certainly see what its capeable of. And for HD TV's, id suggest DLP technoligy. it looks awesome and extremly bright.
