Cleaning the lenses on a high-ranking def tv? will it engender a difference?

i have an elder model phillips hi def tv. I noticed while looking through the fund, the red, blue, and i think in that is a green lense, has some dust on them. I would similar to to know if i took off the put a bet on panel , can i just embezzle a cloth and wipe them clean, short doing any type of damage to my picture or the adjustment of the picture peak? If so, what is a recommended cleaning device/tool, and while i got the rear legs off, should i clean/remove dust from any other areas?

Answers:    You WON'T despoil anything if you just verbs the dust off of it...

You won't really see any transformation either....

BACK within the OLD DAYS people smoked, and final then you could in reality SEE an improvement when the Lenses be cleaned....

But nowadays, everybody doesn't smoke...so cleaning these unit is NOT REQUIRED unless you smoke IN your home.

Of course somebody told you that info about cleaning it, and that info is so OUTDATED, that I'll bet a SALESPERSON told you that to vend you the extended contract....

And you didn't take it....
If it's lone green than you must go deeper inside the optical block. Mean you must disassemble the optical block. Please consult your brand support center back you do this because you can make point worse.
