Is DLP really that well-mannered as it claims to be?

I was wondering I am thinking give or take a few buying an HD TV in the close by future and I be wondering Texas Instruments claims that DLP is the best for your buck, with adjectives of that it's the mirrors talk. I know they are difficult priced so I was wondering do they really live up to their mark. I've heard that they are amazing and other family have said that they don't similar to it. Any suggestions would help closely with this outcome.

Answers:    DLP has some benefits that LCD and Plasma cannot provide...the MAIN point is the COLOR and the Brightness of the picture.....

Plus they're more rugged and reliable....

Plus they are used in MOVIE theatres......

Yes, the downside is the Bulb, but they're with the sole purpose $250, not $2000 for Plasma and LCD panels, you lose the lighting on those and that's what you will salary....

Or $500 for the Drive boards on a Plasma.....

OVERALL a DLP has cheaper repair costs.....
DLP stands for digital restrained projection, and yes, it's amazing, it's the mirrors. DLP sets are not more expensive than LCD or Plasma, in reality, they are much cheaper. They are less expensive because they are not wall-mountable and their bulbs tend to burn out much quicker than other subsequent gen TV's. They will have an excellent picture element just resembling other types of HDTV.
