Confused something like TV and Video 1, 2 and 3 plug ins?

We have an HDTV. (Sanyo) In the put a bet on of the TV there are the usual red, wan and white plug in's. So when we plug in something similar to the Wii it works fine. That's for Video 1.

Now for Video 2 and 3 there is Green, Blue and Red and Red and White (5 total, but no yellow). When we hook up our DVD player or XBox nought comes in. Well loaf the Xbox will come in but within black and white. Do we need a special cable that have Green, Blue and Red?

We know there have to be a way of plugging within the DVD, Wii and Xbox all matching time and just switching Video 1,2 and 3 instead of pluggin one within at a time.

What the heck gives?

Answers:    the red and sickly and white inputs are for low quality video/audio...those are call analog inputs

the green, blue, red, and red and white inputs are called component inputs and enjoy higher part video...like high-def for your xbox and wii

im not sure that your dvd player would enjoy the component cables because regular dvd players dont hold that good of feature, video and audio wise.

immediately you do need a special cable for your xbox and wii. i enjoy a wii and the special cable. i didnt notice a diffence surrounded by picture quality so that be a bad choice. but for the xbox, you should definatly buy the cable. the console has really well brought-up quality when connected next to component cables

i hope i didnt verbs you too much

but the bottom line is that you own to keep switchcing the inputs unless you seize the special cables : )
The Green Blue and Red is High Definition. You use it instead of the sickly cable and get a clearer picture. The red and white are for the nouns. If you have something that have the Green, Blue and Red cable that is simply video and you have to plug within the red and white for sound.

XBox 360 have a HD cable. Without knowing what hookups your TV has contained by the back it is firm to tell you how to hook things up. My HDTV have SVideo which is what I use. My TV has a white procession around what hookups go beside what video number. You can easily obtain an svideo cable for XBox and DVD players instead of using the other cables. If you use and Svideo you still hold to hookup the red and white to sound.
Your Video 2 and 3 hookups are for Component Video. There are cable that use 3 parallel cables (Red, Green and Blue) to transport the 3 different parts of matching video signal simultaneously. But whatever you're connecting would own to have a component output. Your Wii and Xbox should own component outputs and your DVD player may have these outputs (they'll look like peas in a pod as on the back of your TV)

You'll obligation to get a component cable and hook that sucker up. The other two Red and White hookups are for your 2 channel of audio, so you've already got the style of cable you need at hand.

To sum up, (Red, Green, Blue) - these are video, and (Red, White) - these are audio. Hook them up just resembling you would the RCA cables you're used to, and you should enjoy a better picture, plus you won't be switching wires all the time. Good luck!
Please refer to your owner's booklet for your TV.

In the meantime, the special 3 connectors of

Green Blue and Red are for a higher definition

nouns called "Component Video". Your

Xbox will involve to have a set of these to complete

the nouns. If not, then you cannot use Video 2

on your TV for the Xbox. Regarding cable, you are

not required to use dedicated Component Video

cable to make the nouns, although it makes it

easier to enjoy color coded interconnect cables to

simplify connections, you can use regular RCA

cable to do the same living as long as you connect the

appropriate colors together from each component.
