Please help, I just got a new HD TV.?

In order to play high-def DVDs, do I need to purchase a high-def DVD player and a high-def DVD disc?

Thanks

Answer:
Yeah, you'll need a HD dvd player, or blue ray disk player, and their appropriate cds. Gets expensive. We're just saving up for a PS3 so we can play games and blue-ray disks. It's cheaper than the blue-ray disk player itself.

For now, we get our HD movies OnDemand. It's worth it, love the picture.
Yeah you need a Blue Ray DVD player and Blue Ray DVDs. But the cheaper way out would be just to purchase a PS3
Yes, and the best and cheapest way to do it is to get an HD DVD player. Players are HUNDREDS less expensive than Sony's over-hyped Blu Ray technology, with the cheapest one being only $400 now. Also, the Matrix trilogy will be coming exclusively to HD DVD on May 22! Batman Begins is also AMAZING on HD DVD, and it's only $20 on walmart.com. As soon as you see HD DVD, you will be so glad you got it!
