ive got a 50" sony vega, lcd eyeshade, can anyone tell me why purple spots are starting to show up surrounded by the center?? I take really honest care of it but cant amount out why its doing that, maybye the bulb inside needs to be cleaned, i dont know, can

You HOPE it's LCD PROJECTION.....because if it isn't....afterwards you have a serious problem next to your LCD PANEL TV....
At least the LCD Projection element can be easily repaired by a Sony Authorized Service Center....
Your Bulb cleaning will not fix this problem.....
I can fix it, I've done several beside your problem.
