DVI-HDMI Problems?
Any proposal?
Answers: DVI comes in abundant forms. Your PCs video card will almost definitely hold DVI *without* audio (why would your video card output audio?)
You'll have to go and get a stereo 3.5mm jack to twin phono(RCA) which are red and white to connect PC audio line out to TV nouns in.
Or bring back a different DVI to HDMI cable that incorporates a separate audio source feed.
And I quote:
"HDMI is backward-compatible beside the single-link Digital Visual Interface carrying digital video (DVI-D or DVI-I, but not DVI-A) used on modern computer monitors and graphics cards. This means that a DVI-D source can drive an HDMI monitor, or vice versa, by scheme of a suitable adapter or cable, but the audio and remote control features of HDMI will not be available."
A lot of talk over zilch. DVI has certainly NOTHING to do with audio. Period.
obedient luck with that
