Bought an LG, LCD TV from Best Buy and.....?

When you buy it, they tell you that you can reward like $300 for an "in-house tech guy" come out and "optimize" my colors and put together it look better with a laptop and usb plug?. They did enjoy two plasmas on display one optimized one not. The resolution diffrence was big but it wasnt indistinguishable tv.
Anyone ever had this done on a LCD around 42", any info would oblige?

-Thanks

Answers:    No, but I've done it for people. There are some specs that you can find from the manufacture and download them to your computer and later upload them to your tv. The reason you could see the difference surrounded by the store is because they purposly made one of them look worse then it as a rule would. Don't do it, its a scam.
You can have a pro come out and calibrate your settings for you. Depending on what you survey, and how you watch it, it may be worth it. It does trademark a difference, depending on the factory settings. A lot of this can be done by you, to your preference, using a mention disc available from higher-end home theater stores or from Amazon. Personally I don't think it's worth it on a tv of that size, and for average use, because you can grasp a lot of matching results from simply altering the settings on your own.
