Plasma TV's smaller than 42"?
Answers: I enjoy a Panasonic TH-37PX60B. It is a 37" plasma - the picture quality and build element is superb!

Panasonic used to put together a 37 inch plasma, but I have not see it at stores during 2007. Panasonic was the solitary brand that made a Plasma smaller then 42 inches.
Have you checked out LCD TV's ? There are frequent brands that make a 37 inch model.
They hold been made, but they are in danger of extinction. The cost of manufacturing plasma screen doesn't really change much as the peak size changes, unlike LCDs. So totally quickly it be established that, just due to economics, LCDs be better for small and mid-size screens, while plasmas be better for large screen.
Recent advances hold made LCDs more affordable even in immense sizes, letting them compete with plasma on big screen. However, plasmas prices have not enhanced on small screens much at adjectives, so they didn't make duplicate headway into mid-size screens.
As relations have said, plasma surrounded by smaller sizes are not really available. In fact Plasma technology hasn't in truth moved whereas LCD technology has enhanced greatly increasing the size screens available and bringing down the cost considerably. LCD screen also tend to last longer than Plasma which is why LCD sale are outnumbering plasma sales even on the considerable TV's.

Yes, the smallest I have found is Sony KE32TS2 32" WEGA but I don't recommend you buying it because brakes out smooth (as you can see in amazon customer reviews).
As in good health as the rest of people here I recommend an LCD TV. I one-sidedly prefer plasma over LCD because almost always I monitor it in night and I get the full benefit from that. However if I would be surrounded by your situation I would go near an LCD. An LCD TV especially a good one will look only just as good lower than normal conditions and you won't see a difference.
From what I know, that nearby are no 1080p Full-HD LCD TVs (or plasma TVs) at that size. I think it be worth mentioning.
If you like to keep watch on sports and action movies I recommend you to buy an LCD model near a small refresh rate so you don't experience shadowing (plasma TVs don't suffer from shadowing but since they are not an prospect...).
If you go near an LCD TV (and I think you will) I recommend as a brand Samsung. In my belief they have great models. They might cost a bit more than other brands but I believe their models worth the money.
I've based my answer on the supposition that you KNOW a 42" blind would not fit or it would not offer right quality because you are sitting too close to it. I would never purchase a plasma/lcd tv. They're overpriced. I do own one but I didn't pay for it. I get it from the freebie site on my page. :)
