Is anything worth salvage from a 52 contained by. RCA?

Our 52 in. RCA HD geared up tv went to poo. My dad looked into the problem, im not exactly sure what it is, but it be too expensive to get it fixed. The TV's solitary a few years old, seem like in attendance should be something salvageable from it. Is there anything to be done near it?
I just get the impression bad throwing it away eventhough it doesn't work, lol.

Answers:    Nope. Its probably a Scenium , something similar to that. We get a TON of those contained by, and its repairable. One of the boards have to be replaced, I cogitate the last bill be like $400, not too impossible. Still alot cheaper than getting a new tv.

But hey, that what nation get when they buy walmart second-hand goods. If they keep buying walmart cast-offs they are going to get alike lifespan as that RCA had.
try to ebay it. some of the boards might bring you something..
no
dont know where on earth you live.. but in NY in attendance is a company called TV doctor, that construct house calls to repair television.. have you checked beside the professionals how much to fix it, or have you purely guessed it will be too much to fix...

if it is too much perhaps one of the repair shops might buy it from you (at smallest for parts)
Even the speakers aren't worth salvaging....
