You know what there's so many different makes and models about lately its just about knowing which one you like the look of, there all pretty much the same really, and they all do what you want which is to watch tv. Personally i'd go for JVC or Sony and make sure you get a good warranty.

Please don't get HD Ready ! They do not have a built -in HD tuner. They require something with an HD tuner in it to supply the HD signal. It will give you the HD picture, but only if you do what I just said. I would pay a little more and buy one that is full HDTV, with BUILT-IN HD TUNER !
a sony bravia is really good because it has such a good picture and sound quality i have had 3 different 32inch hd ready tvs and this one was best by far
