How can I procure my 1986 NEC TV to pick up adjectives the cable channel?

I have a 1986 NEC TV (Model #CT-2020A) TV. I can only access 65 cable channel, but by basic cable go to 80 channels.

NOTE: It doesn't enjoy a reset button like some elder TVs to update, add or sanction new channel from Comcast (when the cable company adds spanking new channels). I have call Comcast and they can't help me.

Could this be undersupplied or needing a memory module?
Any thoughts?

This be one of the best TVs on the market at that time...380 lines of resulution versus 270 on adjectives other sets. And the picture still looks great. That's why I haven't replaced it yet.

Answers:    Find a VCR that's a bit newer and use it's tuner to nurture a signal to your TV. You just requirement the electronics, the tape constituent doesn't need to be contained by working order.
