What are the perfect colour settings for Samsung LE19R71BX lcd tv?

i have the above tv and i am struggling to get the colour settings right. when the tv is on standard settings its very bright. please help!

Answer:
OK...set your color and your tint HALFWAY..
Set your BRIGHTNESS HALFWAY.

THEN adjust your Contrast from 100% down to 50%..
Somewhere between 100% and 50% you'll find a comfortable viewing brightness.

The Contrast is the one that burns your eyes.
You see, the contrast sets the WHITES and the BRIGHTNESS sets the Black level..
Well, black isn't going to make your eyeballs explode.but the whites will..

NOW.once you set the contrast..you may find you want to lower the color if it looks like a dayglo paint picture...just turn it down if needed and use your skin to reference the color intensity...put your hand near an actor's flesh and adjust it to the same level.

OH WAIT..you used the term "colour" right? That means you may not even have a color or tint adjustment on your PAL TV.
Anyways..the Brightness/Contrast settings still apply to PAL or NTSC..
