I hold a problem near my HDTV and HDMI using a ATI Video card. I hold to save unplugging the HDMI Cable.?

I have a 32 inch Konka LCD HDTV. It have an HDMI input and I have it hooked up to my notebook that has an ATI X850Xt PE video card. I own it connected using a DVI to HDMI cable. I am unable to transmit audio through this cable but i can transmit video. Only problem is if i turn the computer on formerly the tv or shut the tv off and disappear the computer on, i have to unplug the HDMI cable from the TV and replug it surrounded by for the video to detect. I'm hoping this may be an easy fix or a driver related issue. I installed the most recent drivers for my card and I am still having this issue. Anyone hold any ideas? Thanks

Answers:    Either install or reinstall the ATI Catalyst. The catalyst will constantly bequeath you screen information about your DVI to HDMI connection. If your not seeing the information Catalyst is not properly installed.
