Whats new for television(technology advancing wise)?

there developing the next step to HDTV which is going to be UHDTV ( Ultra High Definishion TV) Hdtv resolution is around 1920x1080 and UHDTV is around 7680x4320 which is and unbelivable difference.. to make one 18 minute video to run this picture would take over 3.5 terabytes of data.. hers a link to show u what i mean. look at the comparison picture

I did some digging around to narrow down some rumors that are floating about concerning a new Laser projection TV that might be out by Mitsubishi & Samsing by Christmas 2007. This technology involves a combination of a unique optoelectronic chip & laser projection. These sets are supposed to be half the price, have twice as good a picture as any other technology, half the weight & thickness, & use 1/4 the energy.
But they say don't get all excited & sell your LCD,DLP,, or Plasma just yet.
