My T.V. keep turning bad by itself?!?!??!?

It's a philips 38". I have have it for about 6 or 7 years.

About a year ago it started to turn past its sell-by date by itself, and when turns off by itself it doesn't turn on for approaching a week.

I have notice when you try to turn it on it makes a sound(a click).

Sometimes when it turns bad by itself and you try to turn it on it gives no response at adjectives, I mean zilch.

If and when it turns on, it's good for conceivably a day or a week or a month consequently turns freakin back stale.

It's pissing me freakin off.

What is the problem, what should I do?

EDIT: Well I guess that it could newly as easily be a loose electrical line, but I still like my unproved answer better. I suggest that you either buy a fresh one or have a tech guy look into it
