What is better cox cable or dish satellite?

Cable. Definitely. We've had both, and the dish is the biggest waste of time and money. It has great channels and everything, but you lose the signal practically every time a mosquito flies by the dish. It goes out if the wind is blowing too strongly, it goes out in thunderstorms, or heavy rain, or if your lawn sprinkler is on. (OK, maybe not the last one, but sometimes it seems that way.) My husband and I got so frustrated with the thing, we couldn't wait to get rid of it. We've had digital cable ever since then, and we've never had a problem.
Actually I think there is a better, newly released technology. It's called FIOS TV (fiber optic service) It's available through some phone companies.
To answer you question directly, satellite is better than cable. True, sometimes you do get blackouts with satellite during storms, but with cable you can get these endless periods of annoying "snow" transmissions. With satellite the picture is better, and the menu interface is better than cable.
Satellite tv service companies also tend to be ready to be competitive when it comes to price since many people have been upset with the service and price of cable tv companies
Dish offers a lot more bang for the buck!! I would never go back to cable...quality from Dish is fantastic. If someone is having issues with losing signal then the dish needed realigned or possibly relocated for a better signal. With a good installer you should not have any problems with your service. I have had mine for over 5 years and has only gone out 1 time.quality install means everything.
