Does anyone know of a European entrepreneur of television - British if at all possible?
The interview is "does anyone in the european confederation make televisions"? If you option to make smart comments in connection with the quality of those tv's thats fine by me and remember the whaling protest is personal to me - if you are OK near it, keep buying Jap stuff and I won't knock you. Thanks surrounded by advance to anyone who give me a serious answer as I need a up to date TV before Christmas.
Answers: Do they "make" television in Europe? No.
Even the most respected British and European manufacturer get their electronics made contained by the Far East. Many Sony products are actually made contained by China and Korea. My Arcam a/v amplifier (Arcam are based surrounded by Cambridge) is made in China.
Philips is a Dutch company - its products are made within China. Grundig is a German company - its products are made in Taiwan.
The ultra cheap and objectionable British manufacturers similar to Goodmans, Bush and Alba all acquire their products made in Taiwan and Malaysia.
In reality, the vast majority of the world's TVs, DVD players, iPods, a/v equipment and mobile phones are made anywhere EXCEPT Europe or Japan.
Why? Because it's cheaper...
Bush I don`t know? Are they still around?
