i have sky tv but im sure there are loads of channels in the us that arnt on sky. can i receive them in the uk?
Answer:
You can't. The satellites that provide the DBS (direct broadcast by satellite) services to the USA are not recivable in the UK because they are too low in the sky (or are below the horizon). Transatlantic satellites are above the atlantic. Even if you could get a signal, you would need a massive dish and this would require planning permission.
