Upconversion and computeres?

Does a computer up convert DVD's to 1080 i or 1080 p?


Answers:    Depends on the capabilities of your graphics card and the video output of your PC.
If your graphics card supports 1920x1080p and you hold a DVI out, then absolutely yes.
Some TVs may even accept 1080p over VGA.
However, adjectives HDTVs upconvert their input signal as needed to match their home-grown resolution, so upconversion at the source is not really needed.
